Born in 1987 in Lagos, Nigeria, ABOSSEH Mawuko is a self-taught plastic artist of Togolese nationality. His passion for art is precocious, strengthening over the days by a stubbornness to move forward. He participated in 2019 at the Oscars of African Creativity in Egypt; in collaboration with the Positive Association, he is carrying out the Art et Enfant project with his association ABVA; in 2013 he obtained the 1st prize in the competition for the International Day of African Women in Togo; He is one of the winners of the 2020 national call for projects from the Togo Culture Aid Fund. In sculpture, his interest is in the human face, which he leaves in a rough state: the volumes are basic, the features rustic. For him, man is but one and the face is everything, revealing what we are.
